Grimslich

Ingredients

  • 1/2 loaf of bread, which has been soaked and pressed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of almonds pounded fine

Instructions

Beat whites to a froth and add last. Drop by tablespoonful and fry. Serve with stewed fruit. Pieces of stale bread can be used. Soak in tepid water. Squeeze water thoroughly from bread and make as directed.
