Einlauf (Egg Drop)


  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped parsley


Beat egg, add salt, flour and water, stir until smooth. Pour slowly from a considerable height from the end of a spoon into the boiling soup. Cook two or three minutes and serve hot; add chopped parsley to the soup.
