Dressing for Cold Slaw
- yolks of 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt and dry mustard
- 1 cup of vinegar
Beat the yolks until light, add sugar, pepper, salt and dry mustard, pour vinegar over, stir well and pour over the slaw.
This dressing may be cooked over boiling water if so desired. Care must be taken in adding the vinegar gradually, and add sliced onions to the salad.
