Cream Filling

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 slightly-beaten eggs

Instructions

Scald milk. Mix together sugar, flour and salt. Add to eggs and pour in scalded milk. Cook twenty minutes over boiling water, stirring constantly until thickened. Cool and flavor. This can be used as a foundation for most fillings, by adding melted chocolate, nuts, fruits, etc.
