Chocolate Torte

Ingredients

• 9 eggs
• 1/2 pound of pulverized sugar
• 1/2 pound of almonds, half cut and grated
• 1/2 pound of finest vanilla chocolate grated
• 1/2 pound of raisins, cut and seeded
• 7 soda crackers, rolled to a powder
• 1 teaspoon of baking-powder
• juice of 3 lemons
• 1/4 glass of wine

Instructions

Beat whites of eggs to a stiff froth and stir in last. Beat yolks with sugar until very light; then add chocolate, and proceed as with other torten.
