Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup of sifted sugar
• 1/4 pound of grated sweet almonds
• 1/4 pound of finely-grated vanilla chocolate
• 1/4 pound of raisins
• 1/2 cup of matzoth meal sifted fine
• juice of an orange
• 1/4 cup of wine

Instructions

Beat the yolks of the eggs with sugar, add sweet almonds, vanilla chocolate, and raisins, matzoth meal, orange juice, wine, and lastly the stiffly-beaten whites. Bake one hour in a slow oven, in a form lined with greased paper.
