Brod Torte
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 7 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 7 tablespoons of bread crumbs
- 1/8 pound of chopped almonds
- 1/2 teaspoon of allspice
- 1 tablespoon of jelly
- grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of cloves
- 1/2 wine glass of brandy
Instructions
Beat yolks of eggs well and add sugar and beat until it blisters, add bread crumbs, almonds, jelly, spice, lemon, and brandy. Then add beaten whites, and bake slowly about forty minutes.
