Blitz Kuchen

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of pastry flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking-powder
  • peel and juice of one lemon
  • 5 or 6 eggs

Instructions

Beat sugar with two whole eggs; add butter, beat until foamy; after that the flour mixed with baking-powder, lemon and four yolks. Last the stiffly-beaten whites of the eggs. Mix this well, bake in form in a moderately hot oven.
