Baking Powder Dumplings
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- scant 1/2 cup of milk or water
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, stir in milk or water and mix to a smooth batter. Drop one teaspoonful at a time in the boiling soup; cover kettle, let boil five minutes and serve at once.
