Ingredients

  • 1 pound unrendered fat (chopped fine)
  • 1 teaspoonful thyme
  • 1 teaspoonful marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoonful rubbed sage
  • 1 teaspoonful salt
  • about 1/8 teaspoonful pepper

Instructions

Render in a double boiler and strain through fine cloth.
