Cherry Salad


  • 1 quart of fine, black ox-heart cherries
  • powdered sugar
  • 1/2 wineglassful of sherry
  • 1/2 wineglassful of curaçoa


Remove the stones from the cherries. Place them into a compote, dust powdered sugar over them, and add sherry and curaçoa. Just before serving mix lightly.
