Breakfast Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 1 spring onion
  • 4 or 5 tarragon leaves
  • plain dressing

Instructions

Scald tomatoes; peel off the skin, and place them in ice-water; when very cold, slice them. Peel and slice very thin the cucumber. Put lettuce into a salad-bowl, add the tomatoes and cucumber. Cut up onion; add it, and, if possible, add tarragon leaves. Now add a plain dressing and serve.
