To make an Amblet of Cockles

Ingredients

  • 4 whites and 2 yolks of eggs
  • 1 pint of cream
  • a little flour
  • 1 nutmeg grated
  • a little salt
  • 1 jill of cockles

Instructions

Mix all together, and fry it brown.

This is proper for a side-dish either for noon or night.
