Milk Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 quart of boiling milk
  • 2 tablespoonfuls of flour mixed with a little cold milk
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of salt

Instructions

Stir flour and salt into the milk, and boil half an hour.

Strain and serve. If allowed, a handful of raisins and a little grated nutmeg may be boiled with it.
