Green-Corn Fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of green corn grated (about six ears)
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 well-beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 teaspoonful of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of pepper
  • 1 tablespoonful of melted butter

Instructions

Fry in very small cakes in a little hot butter, browning well on both sides. Serve very hot.
