Whole Wheat Hot Cakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon shortening
  • 1 teaspoon molasses

Instructions

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

Add milk, beaten eggs, melted shortening and molasses and mix well.

Bake on hot greased griddle and serve immediately with butter and syrup.
