Sweet Potato Pudding

Ingredients

• 1 pound of potatoes
• 1/2 pound of butter
• 6 eggs
• 1/2 pound of loaf-sugar
• mace or nutmeg

Instructions

Boil the potatoes, take off the skin, mash and strain them while warm; add the butter; beat the eggs with te loaf-sugar, add a little mace or nutmeg; mix all together, and bake with or without paste.
