Pudding of Corn Meal

Ingredients

  • 3 pints of boiling milk
  • nearly 1/2 pint of sifted corn meal
  • 1/2 pound of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • nutmeg
  • rose brandy
  • grated peel of a lemon
  • sugar
  • paste

Instructions

Pour the boiling milk on the corn meal, stir in the butter, add the eggs, a little nutmeg, rose brandy, and the grated peel, sweeten it, and bake it in paste.
