Mush Flannel Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of corn mush
  • 2 pints of wheat flour
  • 1 spoonful of butter or lard
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tea-cup of yeast
  • water or milk

Instructions

Mix the corn mush with the wheat flour, butter or lard, eggs and yeast; make it in a batter with water or milk, and bake like buckwheat cakes.
