Rice Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound of rice
  • 1/2 pound of loaf-sugar

Instructions

Having picked and washed the rice, mix it with the loaf-sugar, and just sufficient water to cover it. Boil it till it becomes a glutinous mass; then strain it; season it with whatever may be thought proper; and let it stand to cool.
