Bottled Small Beer

Ingredients

• 1 quart bottle of the very best brisk porter
• 4 quarts of water
• 1 pint of molasses
• 1 table-spoonful of ginger

Instructions

Take porter, and mix it with water, molasses, and ginger. Bottle it, and see that the corks are of the very best kind. It will be fit for use in three or four days.
