Waldorf Salad


  • 4 apples
  • 1 pint finely cut celery
  • 2 tablespoonfuls broken English walnuts previously boiled in salted water
  • 4 tablespoonfuls fine mayonnaise


Peel, core and cut fine, the apples, add the celery to it and mix the walnuts, add the mayonnaise and mix well, pile on a platter and mask with mayonnaise, garnish with pieces of red apple, celery leaves and walnuts.
