Orange Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoonfuls flour
  • 1 pint milk or cream
  • 1/2 tablespoonful butter
  • 3 1/2 tablespoonfuls sugar
  • yolks of 3 or 4 eggs
  • grated rind of 1/2 an orange

Instructions

Mix the flour with the milk or cream, add the butter, sugar, yolks and the grated rind and stir the cream over the fire till it boils; then set aside to cool.
