Veal Loaf

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds of veal cutlets
  • 1 small piece of salt pork
  • 1 tea-cup of rolled crackers
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 egg

Instructions

Take the veal cutlets and salt pork, all chopped fine together; the rolled crackers moistened a very little with water; salt, pepper and the egg. Add summer savory, if you like. Put in a bread-pan and bake one and a-half hours. Serve in slices when cold.
