White Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • whites of 9 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

Flavor with lemon. Beat sugar, butter, flour and milk together, then add eggs and baking powder.
