Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • yolks of 2 eggs, or 1 whole egg
  • 5 tablespoons boiling vinegar
  • butter the size of an egg
  • salt
  • pepper
  • mustard
  • sweet cream

Instructions

The yolks, or whole egg, well beaten, added to the boiling vinegar. Add the butter. Cook in a pan of boiling water. When cool, season to taste with salt, pepper and mustard. Thin with sweet cream to the required consistency.
