Cold Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1/3 pint vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cream
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 eggs beaten with cream

Instructions

Cook vinegar, sugar and butter together; when boiling, add eggs and cream, cooking until thick. Chop the cabbage fine, adding celery, if obtainable; if not, celery salt; then pour over it the dressing.
