Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup vinegar

Instructions

Take the cabbage, chop fine, with the salt; squeeze the water out thoroughly with your hands, then pour the vinegar over.

Dressing

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons condensed milk
  • pepper
  • 1/2 teacup boiling water

Instructions

Take the eggs, butter, condensed milk. Season with pepper. Beat together with the boiling water; cook five minutes and pour over the cabbage. It is then ready to serve.
