Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of vinegar
  • piece of butter the size of a walnut
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • cabbage

Instructions

Boil the vinegar, melt in it the butter. Beat together the egg, mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour the boiling vinegar on this mixture. Stir it well, then put back on the stove and boil one minute. Pour this on the cabbage.
