Cabbage Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 6 tablespoons cream
  • 3 tablespoon melted butter (or five tablespoons milk and four of butter)
  • 1 teaspoon or more of mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 coffee-cup strong vinegar

Instructions

Heat until it thickens but not boils. Mix with the cabbage when hot. Cover tightly.
