Sweet and Sour Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 quart cold water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • a little salt and pepper
  • 1 cooking spoon of vinegar
  • 1 cooking spoon of sugar
  • diced, cold boiled meat

Instructions

Cut up the onions and fry until glazed; add the flour. Brown and add the cold water, bay leaf, salt and pepper, vinegar and sugar. Boil and add diced, cold boiled meat. Stew about one hour.
