Quince Honey

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds granulated sugar
  • 6 large quinces

Instructions

To the granulated sugar, add sufficient water to make a syrup, thick enough for pancake syrup. Pare the quinces and grate them. After the syrup has thoroughly boiled add the grated quinces and boil all together until it becomes a reddish color, when it is ready to be put into jars for use.
