Jelly Roll

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs well beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup boiling water added last
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon or vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

Spread in well buttered dripping pans. When done turn out, spread with jelly and roll quickly. Makes two rolls.
