Coffee Gelatine

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup cold coffee
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs beaten separately
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 rounded tablespoonful of granulated gelatine
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

Instructions

Put the milk, coffee and gelatine in a double boiler, add sugar, salt and beaten yolks. Cook till it thickens or starts to separate, stirring occasionally. Take from fire. Add vanilla, add beaten whites of eggs, stir and turn into a mold which has been dipped in cold water
