Chutney Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound brown sugar
  • 8 tomatoes
  • 8 ounces raisins
  • 1/4 ounce cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 ounce ginger
  • 3 ounces garlic
  • 4 ounces salt
  • 1 quart of vinegar

Instructions

Boil all to a mush for several hours.
