Cheese Scallop


  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • dash of cayenne pepper


Take the grated cheese, egg yolks beaten, melted butter, bread crumbs soaked in the milk, cayenne pepper. Mix all together, then add stiffly beaten whites of eggs. Bake in a greased dish in a hot oven covering the top with fine bread crumbs.
