Apple Cheese Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of steamed, sweetened and stewed apple sauce
  • grated rind of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 level tablespoons of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • pastry

Instructions

The apple sauce heated. Add grated rind, butter and beat smooth, then cut in the eggs beaten well. Bake in patty pans lined with pastry. Good way to use left over pie crust and apple sauce.
