American Prune Pie

Ingredients

  • about 24 or 30 prunes
  • sugar
  • pie crust
  • 1/2 pint of cream
  • vanilla

Instructions

Stew the prunes, pit and sweeten the prunes. Bake a pie crust. Whip the cream, sweeten with sugar, flavor with vanilla. Put a layer of prunes in the crust, then the whipped cream on top and serve cold.
