Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 quart of common stock
  • 1 pint of parboiled mixed vegetables
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoonful of sugar

Instructions

To the common stock add the vegetables cut into small dice. Simmer until the vegetables are tender but not pasty. Season with salt, pepper, and the sugar.

Serve without straining.
