One-Egg Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupful of butter
  • 1 cupful of sugar
  • 1 cupful of milk
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 cupfuls of flour
  • 2 teaspoonfuls of baking-powder

Instructions

Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the milk and beaten egg; then the flour mixed with the baking-powder. Bake in a moderate oven.
