Lemon Ice

Ingredients

  • 1 quart of milk
  • 1 tumblerful of sugar
  • 4 large lemons

Instructions

Mix the milk and sugar, and half freeze in an ice cream freezer. Then add the juice and pulp of the lemons; stir thoroughly, and freeze firm. This is the simplest and cheapest of frozen preparations, and for use in the country, where materials are hard to come by, it is invaluable.
