Carrot Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 large carrots
  • flour
  • 1 teaspoonful of butter
  • pepper
  • salt

Instructions

Boil the carrots until quite tender; then rub them through a colander into a saucepan; add a pint and a half of water to the pulp, and boil; thicken with a little flour, and add the butter, pepper and salt.
