Canned Corn


  • 1 canful of corn
  • 1 tablespoonful of butter
  • 1/2 cupful of cream or milk
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of salt
  • dash of pepper


Turn it into a sieve, and let a little water run over it from the faucet. Put it into a shallow baking dish; add to the corn the butter, cream or milk, salt, and pepper. Place in the oven to brown the top, and serve in the same dish.
