Mint Julep (Ginger Ale)

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • juice of 3 lemons
  • 4 sprigs mint
  • 1 pint ginger ale

Instructions

Boil sugar and water ten minutes, and cool; add strained lemon juice, mint leaves bruised, and ginger ale; half fill glasses with crushed ice, add julep, and garnish with a sprig of mint.
