Hoche Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of fresh pork
  • 1 pound rump (flank) of beef
  • 1 pound rump of veal
  • 2 onions
  • 1 celery
  • 4 leeks
  • 2 or 3 carrots
  • 2 or 3 turnips, according to the size
  • a few Brussels sprouts
  • 5 or 6 potatoes, according to the number of persons

Instructions

Let the water boil before putting in the meat, and cut all the vegetables in cubes of the same size, like cubes of sugar. Let simmer only, for three hours; it is delicious and makes a dinner.
