Queens Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1 pound sugar
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 glass wine
  • 1/2 gill rose-water
  • spices
  • 1 1/4 pounds flour

Instructions

Whip the butter to a cream, add the sugar, eggs, wine, rose-water, and spices to your taste, all worked into the flour, put into pans, cover with paper, and bake in a quick well heat oven, 12 or 16 minutes.
