Paste for Sweet Meats No. 7

Ingredients

  • 1/3 pound of butter
  • 1 pound of lard
  • 2 pounds of flour
  • 4 whites well beaten

Instructions

Rub the butter and lard into the flour, wet with the whites; water q: s: to make a paste, roll in the residue of shortning in ten or twelve rollings, bake quick.
