Butter Drop Gingerbread, No. 3

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 pound sugar
  • mace
  • 1 1/4 pounds flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 glass rose water

Instructions

Rub the butter, sugar, sprinkled with mace, into the flour, add the eggs, rose water, bake as No. 1.
