Scotch Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts of black cherries
  • 1/2 pound of fine bread-crumbs
  • chopped nuts
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar.

Instructions

Take black cherries; remove the stones.

Mix with bread-crumbs, some chopped nuts, the beaten yolks of 4 eggs and sugar.

Add the whites beaten stiff.

Bake in a well-buttered pudding-dish and serve cold.
