Norwegian Soup
Ingredients
- 1 large fish
- 2 quarts of water
- salt
- paprica
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 leeks cut fine
- 2 sprigs of parsley
- 1 bay-leaf
- 1 tablespoonful of butter
- 1 quart of oysters
- 1 cup of hot cream
Instructions
Boil fish in water; season with salt and paprica.
Add onion, leeks, parsley and bay-leaf. Let cook well; then remove the fish.
Add butter and oysters. Let boil ten minutes.
Add cream; season to taste and serve very hot.
